Guglielmo Maffeis was born in Lecco in 1964, he began his career in 1983 in “Zecca Informatica” (Agenzia IBM di Lecco) as a commercial agent, in 1987 he joined “Sirio Sistemi” (IBM Business Partner) first in Bergamo, then in Lecco and finally in Cinisello Balsamo.
He stayed in Sirio for 16 years, where he became Head of the Direct Sales Network. In 2003 he started his own business in Lecco with Intermedia, believing in the usefulness of a marketing & commercial company “on demand”.
He began an important collaboration with EDM of Brescia for the graphic development tool, webgate400, which will become, thanks to his contribution, the leader in Italy for the modernization of RPG/COBOL applications. Since 2012 he has been in charge of Social Media Marketing. Since 2017 he has been a partner and CEO of Faq400, the Italian community of IBM i/AS400.
